Fiat November sales plunge; company trims 2012 forecast

Italian financial newspaper Il Sole 24 Oro reports that Fiat sales fell 11.7 percent in November as the general market fell 1.4 percent. Fiat’s share of the European market dropped from 6.9 percent to 6.3 percent.

Fiat sales continue to be battered by the financial turmoil in Italy, Fiat’s primary market, the company has cut 500,000 units from its 2012 forecast while reaffirming its target of 2.4 million sales form Chrysler Group.

That's bad news for Fiat. I don't see Italy pulling their economy up anytime soon.
