Pull the trigger on MINI Cooper S?
Was planning on ordering an Abarth for delivery in September but concerns over transfering the warranty to Canada the following June are holding me back. It looks like I'll wait until I'm going to be back in Canada for good and order an Abarth at that point.

In the meantime, I do need another car. Found a 2006 MINI Cooper S with 56K miles on it for $13,500. Includes a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty on engine and transmission from the time of purchase. Got the dealer to cut off $300 to cover some minor interior cosmetic issues (mirror cover on passenger visor, etc.). Got a decent quote for insurance.

Can anyone give me any ideas of things I should be looking for in a used MINI? The dealer told me he bought it from another off-brand dealer at auction and put a bit of work into it for certification including replacing the CV boot. Are there other issues anyone here knows about.

Thanks in advance and I'll sign off as MINI_Mike for this thread.
